NO-FEAR webinar:
Lung Ultrasonography
in the COVID Pandemic

NO-FEAR Work Package 3 (acute care of the patient) is hosting a webinar 17 November 14:00 (CET) titled “The Role of Lung Ultrasonography in the COVID Pandemic”.

Zoom registration is free and available here. Speakers will be announced soon.

Lung Ultrasound (LUS) use is not a novelty to assess patients with respiratory challenges. Today LUS is being used in several European countries to detect histopathological signs of COVID-19. Webinar speakers will discuss LUS use in and outside the hospital; how signs of pneumonia relate to the other signs of COVID-19; potential triage applications; and training.

Other recent NO-FEAR webinars include “Pulse Oximetry during COVID-19” (Oct 29) and “COVID-19: New Wave, Old Problems?” (Oct 16).

NO-FEAR is a 5-year project that brings together a network of emergency medical care practitioners, suppliers, decision and policy makers to collaborate and exchange knowledge, good practices, and lessons learned in disaster and crisis management. Our networks work together to develop a common understanding and to enhance the response to security-related incidents. The NO-FEAR project seeks to harness the rich experience of our members and leverage our network to improve the exchange of good practices and information in Europe and beyond.
