MEDEA at the Better Practice Guide and Standardisation workshop
The NO-FEAR project invited the MEDEA Coordinator as there is a long-standing synergy between the two consortia, to take part in its hybrid Better Practice Guide and Standardisation workshop which was held in Delft, The Netherlands, on November 30, 2022.
Around fifty participants in Delft and more attendees online had the chance to listen to all speeches, interactions and the expert roundtable session as well, which included Jonathan Hall of the Resilience Advisors Network, David Crouch of 3M, Isabelle Meslier of Europol, Patricia Compard of the French Ministry of the Interior and CEN TC391 chairperson, and Stephanie Jansen of the NEN(NL Standardisation Body).
Genny Dimitrakopoulou (KEMEA) as a representative of the MEDEA Project, raised the issue of mitigating standardisation roadblocks and enhancing ideas generation and innovation, which offered the opportunity to the Standardisation experts to address this long-standing problem.
