LEAs should better utilise common events. Practitioners utilised their participation in Joint Action Days (JAD’s) organised by FRONTEX to perform control checks based on risk indicators and existing intelligence.  Therefore, there is need of more common events like the JAD’s to enhance the cooperation between competent authorities and the cooperation with third countries that face the same problems.
